As a private teacher I aim to form in my students a deep recognition along with confidence at exams and being able to handle unfamiliar situations. My ideology is based on the idea that learning happens in an atmosphere of mutual recognition where the person is stimulated to think and make new connections for themselves. According to my practice individual lesson has a special usefulness to students thanks to the opportunity to resolve the students' own difficulties to study in a manner which sets the roots for a lasting and deep comprehension of the material.
Student’s needs and learning style matter
My approach depends on the student's learning style and needs. My teaching theory is built upon encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever they can. |I believe that it is essential to provide scholars with a working skills and to exercise problem-solving skill sets for establishing upon this knowledge. Directing a person to think critically is at the fundamental of the things a learner have to take away from any subject class.
We learn through examples
Coaching children is one of the most long-lasting increases a teacher can do, and it is a process, which I find enjoyable and beneficial. From my practice, I found out the value of engaging children through patterns and of pitching data at a level which implies intelligence and yet not always knowledge, mixing the known with the unknown as a combination which delivers the scholar the disposition of likelihood instead of that of impossibility that impressive and official approaches may impose.
My teaching tricks
I begin with themes the learners are comfortable with and step progressively to more complicated sectors as long as their confidence is being established. I employ questions and examples to confirm grasping continuously. I will not lecture to children or request them to memorise information. Neither do I accomplish the students' home tasks for them!
I constantly involve exam-style or last queries in order to evaluate, exercise and perfect the child's realising and technique. I even give a lot of accent to many of the not so much vital but obvious skills for instance, logical thought, essay structure and technique, and the effective use of graphs and numbers.
